It’s odd seeing as express routes are named after origin points 6 should be south shore express and 26 should be south deering express

If anything, the 6 is the true Hyde Park express considering where the bulk of it's ridership comes from. I'd say the 26 is fine as is, considering that before the extension that codified the deadhead into the route, it barely entered South Deering. Maybe South Chicago express is more accurate

i just seen a 82 saying “82 Kimball/Homan To Congress Blue Line”

On weekdays, about 4 evening SB trips and every day about 1-4 after midnight SB trips end at Homan/Congress. These buses immediately make two lefts onto Harrison, then Kedzie to return to K

Buses also start at Homan & Congress as well, but I'm not sure if they start at the intersection or on the bridge by the Blue Line entrance.

The Clevver Device probably wasn't being so clever then. Regardless, 82 buses returning to K end their runs at Congress and the headsign reflects that. I believe there's also one for Cermak, but don't quote me on that.

From time to time I will see a CTA bus parked on the 6700 block of Stony Island on the east side of the street.

The sign may something about being a cooling bus(?). It hasn't hot enough to necessitate that for some time.

Anyone have ideas what this is about?
